District Leadership Committee – 2024-25
| Greetings Fellow District 8 Toastmasters: As the District Leadership Committee Chair (DLC), the committee and I wanted to let you all know that we are now seeking and accepting nominations for next TM year’s (2024-2025) District 8 Leaders. For the District roles of: District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, and Division Directors for Division A, B, C, E, and F. As DLC Chair, I will also be taking nominations for appointed positions, such as: Area Director, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Public Relations Manager. If you have nominations for other volunteer positions that are not listed on the nomination form, (i.e. Logistics Manager and Parliamentarian) please share that information as well. The nominations for the appointed positions will not be vetted by the DLC Committee. This is your chance to nominate someone you feel should be in a district leadership role. So please take the time to nominate someone for the next year. Feel free to nominate yourself. The deadline for nominations has been extended to February 10, 2024. Click the link below to fill in the nomination form online. Once the form is completed please mail to leingang65@aim.com. Only the committee and the District Director will see your nomination. Members nominated will be notified and their names will remain confidential throughout the election process until the DLC Report is delivered to the District Director. That happens 6 weeks prior to the election in April. After the District Director has reviewed the DLC nominees the nominees names will be made known 4 weeks before the election, which will be held April 27, 2024.
