It is with great sadness that we relay the passing of Toastmaster Mary Kerwin on May 10, 2018. She quickly succumbed to cancer that took her life after being diagnosed a mere 6 weeks ago.
An icon in District 8 since the early 1990’s, she was a dear friend to many and mentored countless members. She never missed a District Conference and even attended every Toastmaster Convention.
She served as the 2005-2006 District 8 Governor. She was also recognized as the 1996 District 8 Toastmaster of the Year. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her son Rocky. Mary will be sorely missed.

Just added: A memoriam to Mary has been added to the Spring conference schedule. It will be held on 5/18 at the Holiday Inn at Earth City at 10:00 pm following the evaluation contest. Feel free to listen in or say a few words. The event will be held in room Marquette North B and will be moderated by Tom Coscia, DTM, PDG.
