Paula Williams, Area 12 Director
2024 Conference Co-Chair

Paula Williams has been a member of the Shalom Church Toastmasters Club since 2017. She is currently serving as Area 12 Director and VP of Education for Shalom Church Toastmaster Club. She has held the following offices: Area 18 Director, VP of Education and VP of PR. She has actively helped with other area club’s virtual and in-person contests. She enjoys seeing members reach a goal, give a speech, or complete a project that they did not think was possible. She believes educating, assuring and a pleasant smile gets the good work done every time.

Paula is the founder of Unstoppable Extended Hands, a nonprofit organization in St. Louis and Chicago. Unstoppable Extended Hands dedicates its time throughout the year to gather essential items for children, book scholarships for college students, and those starting a second career and supports students that are displaced, with food, funding, and essentials for families.

Paula looks forward to serving as the 2024 District 8 Conference Chair.




Willie Blue
2024 Conference Co-Chair

Willie Blue has been a member of Toastmasters International since 1999. Since being in Toastmasters Willie has entered and won numerous competitions. He has been instrumental in starting two clubs both are still in existence today. Willie has helped clubs and individuals reach their goals. Because of Toastmasters Willie has gotten promoted and received two raises in pay. He has been appointed to two additional duties in the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Although Willie is retired, he is still active in his community. He is a member of the St. Louis Woodworkers Guild and a member of the St. Louis chapter National Speakers Association. As a member of the St. Louis woodworkers Guild Willie has made toys for children in rehab facilities and children’s hospitals in the St. Louis region. Willie enjoys helping others and he volunteers to make projects to help others through the St. Louis Woodworkers Guild.
